DESCRIPTION:It's time for an adventure! This week we continue our series on 
 the James Peltz Journal and the USS Dacotah\, picking up at May 8\, 1862 
 with the bombardment of the fort at Sewell’s Point. The USS Dacotah was a 
 steam powered sloop commissioned by the United States Navy. It launched on 
 March 23\, 1859\, from Norfolk Navy Yard and served in both the Atlantic 
 and Pacific Oceans. On March 9\, 1862\, Dacotah joined the Union blockade 
 of the North Atlantic. It was stationed near Hampton Roads\, Virginia\, 
 through September 1862 and then patrolled the Atlantic seaboard throughout
