Intro to Virtual Reality Development: Part 1

Intro to Virtual Reality Development: Part 1

Join in the creation of a VR Demo, using Unreal Engine 5 & Blender, to create a virtual game that explores how coding works! Much like how the educational coding program Scratch provides interactive learning in a 2D space, this VR project allows for 3D interaction with core computer science components. Participants are invited to follow along with prepared files shared by the instructor, but this is not required. If you would like to follow along, please download Blender and Unreal Engine and bring your laptop to the workshop.

This session is part one of a two-part series focusing on modeling for virtual environments. Sign up for part 2, which focuses on coding and game development skills, here.

If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, welcome! Please email library-event-accessibility-g@vt.edu at least 10 days prior to the event.
