Generative AI and Prompt Engineering workshop

Generative AI is transforming industries worldwide, and academic libraries are no exception. But how can library professionals harness this technology to enhance their work? This two-hour workshop provides a practical, hands-on introduction to generative AI and the art of prompt engineering, tailored specifically for academic librarians. You’ll learn the fundamentals of generative AI, explore its potential to support your daily tasks and practice crafting prompts through guided activities that address real-world scenarios. No technical background is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore new possibilities!
