Intro to Laser Cutting and Engraving
Come make a keychain in the Prototyping Studio! You'll learn best practices for design, gain skills in Adobe Illustrator, and watch your creation come to life on the laser cutter. All materials provided with options including wood, acrylic, and PLA.
The Prototyping Studio is an advanced makerspace on the fourth floor of Newman Library. We offer tools and staff to help you work with 3D Printing, electronics, laser cutting, CNC, vacuum forming, clay modeling, sewing, and screen printing. We also have a wide array of hand tools so you can make anything you dream of, and best of all, it is all free for everyone to use.
