It's time for an adventure! This week we have a story about an experimental medical treatment gone awry. It was first published in the November 1935 issue of Astounding magazine under the pen name "John Jessel". The Adaptive Ultimate by Stanley G. Weinbaum is the 17th story from author and sci-fi historian Sam Moskowitz’ list of sci-fi classics from his 1940 letter to the editor of Comet.
