CC0, CC-BY, CC-ND-SA... What are Creative Commons Licenses, and What Do They Mean?

All works are immediately copyrighted as soon as they are put into a tangible medium. But did you know you can apply a license that indicates the levels of permissions you want for your work to have so users know what they can (and can't) do with your work?  This session will cover the basics of Creative Commons and how they are able to be used for any work, from photos to open access scholarly articles, and things to consider as you contemplate the options.
