Abstract:
This presentation will demonstrate how you can use various generative AI tools to brainstorm ideas, generate hypothesis, conduct literature reviews, collect data, visualize information, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and write/summarize results.
Bio:
Shahidur Rashid Talukdar holds a PhD in Public Administration and Public Affairs from the Center for Public Administration and Policy. He is currently a research associate with the Center for Engineering Excellence and Discovery in the College of Engineering. Previously, he served as a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow in Science Policy and Research Ethics at the Division of Scholarly Integrity and Research Compliance, Office of Research and Innovation, Virginia Tech. His research interests include the societal impacts of artificial intelligence and machine learning, regional governance and sustainability, and data science. His recent publications include “Does generative artificial intelligence pose a threat to the humanities?” and “Impact of Technology on the Future of Course Development, Design, and Delivery: Leveraging AI for Accessibility and Inclusion.
