Digital Storytelling with ArcGIS StoryMaps for Research and Teaching
Interested in turning maps and research data into engaging digital stories? Join us for the Digital Storytelling with ArcGIS StoryMaps for Research and Teaching workshop on September 16, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. This session will be held online and is open to students, faculty, researchers, and anyone curious about mapping and digital storytelling.
In this session, Imma Mwanja, Geospatial Data Curator, and Mariam Ismail, Digital Projects Coordinator, will introduce ArcGIS StoryMaps and explore how maps, images, audio, video, and text can work together to communicate research in meaningful and accessible ways. You’ll leave with practical strategies for creating interactive StoryMaps for research, teaching, and public engagement.
No prior experience is required. We hope you'll join us!
