Altmetrics: Explore your Research Impact beyond Academia
This session will cover alternative metrics, or altmetrics, which track the engagement and attention to research from a diverse set of online sources, such as news media, public policy, and patents. You will be introduced to Altmetric Explorer and other tools to delve into the conversations around your (or your institution’s) research. This information can help paint a richer picture of the full reach and impact of your research, which can be useful in communicating with others about your research.
