Leonard Currie: Through Photographs and Drawings

This exhibit in the Special Collections and University Archives reading room feature photographs, drawings, sketches, and artifacts from the Lenoard J. Currie Papers. Created in conjuction with complimentary digital and a physical exhibit in the Art + Architecture Library, this display offers a small glimpse into architectural projects Currie worked on in Blacksburg, including two homes he designed for himself (one in the early 1960s and one in the early 1980s) and an addition to Hokie House. The exhibit also contains one of Currie's cameras (his papers have thousands of photographs, negatives, and slide) and an architectural stamp from his time as a faculty member, administrator, and practicioner in Chicago.
