Incorporating Media into Digital Scholarship with Knight Lab Tools
Please note: This workshop was originally scheduled for February 18, 2021 and is being rescheduled for March 12, 2021. If you are already registered, you are still registered. If you're not registered, you are welcome to join us!
In this workshop, we will talk about five tools from Knight Lab [https://knightlab.northwestern.edu/projects/] (Timeline, Storyline, StoryMap, Soundcite, and Juxtapose). These tools can be integrated into existing web resources, including websites, digital exhibit platforms, and just about anything that can embed html code. We will talk about how to use each of these tools to create content and how you can incorporate them into digital scholarship.
If you are Virginia Tech Faculty/Staff or a graduate student and you wish to take this class for PDN credit, please register through the PDN site. If you are an undergraduate student, alumni, or a member of the public, please register for this course online.
If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, please email library-event-accessibility-g@vt at least 10 business days prior to the event.
