DESCRIPTION:University Libraries will host the Virginia Tech Authors 
 Recognition Event\, a celebration of authorship\, on March 31\, 2026\, from 
 5 - 7 p.m. in Newman Library. This event is made possible by the Alfred and 
 Shirley Wampler Caudill Endowment for Special Events.\n\nThe Virginia Tech 
 Authors Recognition Event honors Virginia Tech faculty and staff who have 
 written or edited a book or non-book materials representing an equivalent 
 level of scholarly and creative achievement. \n\nView the list of authors 
 being celebrated this year.\n\nIf you have published a book in the last 
 year\, submit the title to be considered for inclusion in the celebration. 
 Submission deadline is Feb. 6\, 2026.\n\n \n\nIf you are an individual with 
 a disability and desire an accommodation\, welcome! Please email 
 library-event-accessibility@groups.office365.vt.edu at least 10 days prior 
 to the event.
