SUMMARY:Archival Adventures: Daniel E. Wright Collection
DESCRIPTION:It's time for an adventure! This week we're heading back to the 
 20th Century as we explore the Daniel E. Wright Collection. Wright 
 graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1904 with a B.S. in Civil 
 Engineering. His career took him to Panama where we worked on the Panama 
 Canal construction and public health efforts in the area around the canal. 
 He worked for the Columbian and Panamanian governments and the Rockefeller 
 Foundation in Greece and Turkey during the interwar period. During World 
 War II\, he worked for the United Nations Public Health Service (UNPHS) in 
 Burma and later joined the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation 
 Administration (UNRRA). This collection includes reorts\, speeches\, 
 magazine and newspaper articles\, correspondence\, and photographs from 
 1903 to 1973 with the majority being from the 1940s and 1950s. You can
