Equipment Catalog

The Virginia Tech Drone Park offers students and faculty a unique opportunity to learn new skills and develop and test innovative technology, and offers a number of drones for recreational and research purposes. To borrow any of our drones, patrons must complete the required Virginia Tech training.

Patrons must complete a Drone Park Proficiency Flight and provide proof of certification.  If this is your first time checking out equipment, contact vtdronepark@vt.edu to schedule your flight (this only needs to be completed one time, as long as you continue to show evidence of being a safe operator).

Drones require either a Remote Pilot (Part 107) Certification or a TRUST Certificate. This is indicated in the description of each drone. If you do not currently have this certification, please contact us at vtdronepark@vt.edu to get more information.
