Archival Adventures: Rex, by Harl Vincent

Archival Adventures: Rex, by Harl Vincent

It's time for an adventure! This week, we dive back into author and sci-fi historian Sam Moskowitz's list of genre classics from his 1940 letter to the editor of Comet. Today's story: Rex by Harl Vincent, the seventh tale on the list. Vincent, an American mechanical engineer and sci-fi writer, penned over seventy stories for pulp magazines. In Rex, we journey to the year 2200, where an ambitious super robot surgeon named Rex has big plans to "fix" humanity. Are his intentions as noble as he claims? Join us as we uncover Rex's mysterious schemes! Learn more here: https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/title.cgi?47127

Join our community collections archivist, Anthony Wright de Hernandez, for a livestream on Twitch!
