Archival Adventures - Twilight by Don A. Stuart

Archival Adventures - Twilight by Don A. Stuart

It's time for an adventure! This week we return to Sam Moskowitz's 1940 list of sci-fi classics, hitchhiking through time and space with Don A. Stuart's "Twilight." Better known as John W. Campbell, he later became editor of Astounding Stories. In this tale, a strange traveler tells of autonomous machines and a dying race, 7 million years in the future. Join us as we discover humanity's twilight hour. Learn more about the story here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_(Campbell_short_story)

Join our community collections archivist, Anthony Wright de Hernandez, for a livestream on Twitch! Every week we explore and discuss materials from Special Collections and University Archives covering topics including university history, NASA pioneers, architecture, science fiction, cooking, LGBTQ+ history, Black history, urban legends, and more. Recordings of previous streams are available on the Libaries' Youtube page.

If you are an individual with a disability and desire an accommodation, welcome! Please email library-event-accessibility@groups.office365.vt.edu at least 10 days prior to the event.
