Archival Adventures: Energy Production

Archival Adventures: Energy Production

It's time for an adventure! For our 10th episode on High Energy Physics, we are exploring the topic of energy production with the Blake W. Corson, Jr. Papers. In 1935, Corson began work at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) and continued his work there after NACA became the National Aeronautics and Space Association (NASA). Corson focused much of his research on identifying alternative energy sources with the goal of energy independence for the United States. Alongside this research, he worked on rocket engines and wind tunnels for testing aerodynamics.
